Russell also tweaked Heir to the Throne to create a gender-switched variant add-on, Heiress to the Throne. It switched the roles of Konrad and Li'sar, and replaced Queen Asheviere with a male tyrant. It includes two scenarios that would later be cut from the main campaign, Mountain Pass and The Valley of Statues.
Rusty had already been inactive on the Wesnoth project, before piping up in 2010 during the controversy over whether Kyle Poole's iOS port was compatible with the GPL.
